Cane Creek Lake

Cane Creek Lake at Cane Creek Park is a scenic and serene environment for outdoor recreation. It is home to some of the best largemouth bass fishing in the state. It also features bluegill, crappie, and carp. Cane Creek Park also offers hiking and biking trails and a disc golf course. The park also offers paddle boat rentals.

The lake at Cane Creek Park is 56 acres in size and has two fishing piers. There is also a paved hiking trail and a mountain bike trail. There are also a number of picnic tables and a fire pit. Cane Creek Park has a bathhouse near the lake that guests can use. You must provide your own linens and towels, but there are showers, restrooms, and electricity available.

Visitors from the Nashville area can get to the park by taking I-40 east to the Cookeville exit. From there, drive about four miles to Jackson St., which is two stop lights away. From here, go a half mile further and turn left onto Buffalo Valley Rd. You’ll see a blue sign that points you in the right direction. The first tee is near the concession stand and boat dock.

Recreation center

If you’re looking for a way to get your kids active outside, the Recreation center at Cane Creek Park in Cookeville offers spring break and summer camps. The center hosts several events throughout the year, including fitness classes, youth camps, and the Leisure Services School of Dance.

The Recreation center at Cane Creek Park is open daily. Campers ages nine and up can take part in recreational day camps. The camps include age-appropriate games, activities, and arts and crafts.
